Any punk who hasn't left Texas is too stupid to be punk.

The Batlord 05-07-2019 05:23 PM

Yeah thanks for proving my point.

1st I broke all of elph's stupid fashion rules except for blue jeans. But elph is a goofball who's no different than a juggalo as in the fact that he's using a consumer brand as a crutch for his identity so it makes it easy to sell him ****.

2nd, the real reason I'm here is that these stupid uncle tom mother ****ers that love to suck off capitalism and the free market and blah blah blah need to quit saying that 'life is work' or 'try living off the land' or stupid **** like that as a defense since hunter gatherer tribes typically work 3 hours a day. At most it's 5. Cavemen were estimated to only work 2 hours a day twice a week. ****ing "but massa takes care of us and gives us these good jobs we gots it good" ass mother ****ers.

Man, I'm just sick of these idiots regardless. Talking out of their ass, saying that we don't need to make livable wages because you have the freedom to find a better job or learn a trade or what ever stupidity. 30 years ago I'd probably have a house with my job. A ****ty one, but still a house.

It's a consumer brand. You have consumers that brand or self identify as 'goths' and they use that to sell them ****. There's even elitist battles of who's more goth. IDK which goth loses, but I do know that who ever is in the market of selling goth music, clothes and accessories is going to win.

I know some real Goth goths, and they are stylish af and it's generally all DIY

juggalos on the other hand...

If goth weren't a brand it wouldn't have a name and people wouldn't be copying it four decades later. ****ing joiners.

Isn't there a 'goth' club that you frequent? Everything there is free?

You have artists that make 'goth' music.

You have clothing stores that make 'goth' clothes (though most you'd probably avoid because you're more a of a niche early goth type)

Man, if you don't see my point I think you just maybe blinding yourself to the truth that these cultures are nothing more than easy marketing for companies to exploit.
