Lol my job is definitely less immoral than yours.

You just don't like to have to see the animals up close. You're the kind of person who will eat a steak but could never kill a cow.

Exactly. It's not a moral decision. I'd just feel awful making friends with a cute little doggie for a month and then walking in the next day and seeing his cage empty. I'm good with that.

Alright I misunderstood you. I'm so used to these animal rights ****s coming at us,I thought it was a moral statement.

I completely understand if you don't have the heart for it. I do. At least for the time being. Don't really have interest in it for a long term career thing.

And I get sad at some of the dogs they put down. But some of them they save from the brink of starvation. It balances out.

All the vet techs who work there are women that love animals and want to try to help them

No I'm just saying, you're implying it takes some sort of cold heart etc

Most of the people there don't meet that description. They actually care enough to try to do something even if it's sometimes uncomfortable.

I adopted my dog from a “kill” shelter. They’re good people. Dog breeders and the obsession for pure breeds and not spade and neutering your pets are all problems. If you’ve ever been to a third world country where dogs roam free and form packs you’ll see they suffer and die anyway and dog packs are ****ing menacing.

There aren't quite "packs" but random dogs follow me down the street in the way to the store here. People in this neighborhood just let them run loose like it's nothing
