nah im the opposite i suppose thats because you stay in a typically warm country and i stay in a typically cold country!

I'm sorry about your pal. How did he do that? Did he lose any senses or anything? I'm surprised at how common these head injuries are - It's scary.

It was his own fault really. He was really stupid and careless when he was out cycling. He's had to have plates put in his head and it could easily have been twice as serious an injury but as it works out hes been quite lucky all things considered.

I hope the recovery isnt as bad as you're thinking its gonna be and that you feel better soon.

You should move here to Melbourne! It's pretty much the most temperate city in Australia. In summer our average temperature is only about 25-30, with probably a few random 40+ degree days, and in winter the average temperature is probably about 14. We're known as Australia's cold and rainy city. Cold not being the same definition as what you would call it :P
