Heh.. at least she had incompetent professionals. I took this combat life-saver course in the military and one of the tasks was to hook up an IV on each other until we were successful.
Imagine being stabbed repeatedly by incompetent amateurs. For hours. One of my friends in the class had such a bad collapsed vein that the bruise extended almost the full length of his forearm and almost all the way around. That whole experience was horrid. And I'm deathly afraid of needles.

Well, it's safe to say I'll never shoot anything up.
I had to get a bazillion immunizations and shots in the military, especially before deployments, and it sucked. I can't watch the needle go in at all. I'd rather get punched in the balls.

Well I can't vouch for prefering to get punched in the nuts. But I HATE getting blood taken. I'm absolutely fine with piercings though, am no feart!

how were you getting your tattoo?

Tattoos are easy. To me it's not the same thing at all. I just don't like the idea of a long needle going all the way into a vein, or muscle.
