Trust me Kay, if you really want to see her then you will be able to. It might be a pain but it is possible as long as you have the money. I realise the money can often be a problem in itself though.

Someone i was best friends with at the time moved to Belfast and it's easy to go and see her, even though it involves a flight. I have a mate who has just moved to London and I didn't realise just how cheap it was for me to get there and back again. It's a long journey but it's affordable. I have a mate in Manchester who I havent been to see yet but thats affordable too, and i have less money than you i bet.

You have every right to be upset, of course you do, but really it isnt gonna be as bad as it seems you are thinking it will be. You may need to prioritise the trip to see her, but you can do it. :D

Well we're going down in 3 weeks for her birthday to surprise her :D. But it's not about not earning enough money, I earn enough to get me by, but I owe it all back out :(. It will be difficult but im pretty much sure going down will be totally worth it.

Today I ran into a girl at my uni who works in PR for Big Day Out (i.e. insanely popular music festival in which Tool are headling in 2011, eeeeeep!). Tickets go on sale from the website at 12.01am next Friday. I asked her, "If I log on at 12.01 am, what are the chances of securing myself a ticket?" And she's like "Honestly, pretty slim."
