I'm going to bitch about spiders, namely the venomous variety.

There was a black widow crawling on my leg a few minutes ago. It didn't bite me. I'm still shaking. It was awful.

I hate spiders that scare me, and I hate that there are 3 kinds of venomous spiders were I live - all of which I've spotted in my home.

Most popular around here is the brown recluse. They leave a pretty nasty scar where they bite. Im not alll that fearful of spiders myself. Something about the size advantage, and overall fact that chances of me perishing from a bite are pretty slim. My snake phobia has never faded though. Even after countless encounters which in my line of work is enevitable.

I'm cool with snakes. And yeah, there are brown recluse spiders around here too - more than black widows as well. Got bit by one of those and had to go to the ER...still have a scar on my ankle, and I was in the ER not 20 minutes after the bite.

I remember when I was little, my mom was cleaning out our garage once and got bit by a black widow. She didn't see what it was, just felt a twinge on her forearm. She thought it was a tick or something cause it hurt but was just a small mark. Her arm started swelling and turning purple and I remember we had to call an ambulance and had we waited awhile longer she coulda died. I remember being young and being scared shitless of spiders after that lol.

I aint scared anymore of spiders. Bring em on.

I just don't really like bugs in general though. Always hated bees. Two summers ago I was working at this place that makes hunting calls and stuff, and I was outside mowing and weed-eating, and sometime while I was weed-eating, I hit a bees nest and all of a sudden there were like a million bees surrounding me and I got stung like 15 times. That really pissed me off.

I was always freaked out by bees because my cousin is really, really allergic and got stung on the leg by a bumblebee once when we were kids. His thigh was swollen to what looked like three times the normal size. I'm not allergic, but after seeing that, bees freak me right out.
