Thanks trollheart, I mean every word of it. I think a lot of us come to MB because we are lonely, isolated and unhappy with life. I'm grateful that my life is getting better because I've have had a shocking few years. 2013 is really shaping up positively. I just need to fix my issues with study and I will be satisfied.

I gained 20 lbs over the holidays, and this year, it's not come off at all. I know that I need to exercise more and adjust my eating habits, but this year, it's harder than usual.

I need to move to Los Angeles within the next calendar year (I have money saved for it) to continue my writing career, but I don't want to be a cow in LA. I considered doing the Atkins diet, just to lose the pounds, then going vegan after that.

So no milk, fish, healthy fish oils, meat, eggs, poultry and so on?

I know how you feel, ever since I turned 24 last year I noticed my metabolism has been slowing down and all my attempts at exercise and healthy eating have not shaved off as much fat as I had hoped. I think the biggest thing is just to cut down on my beer consumption and replace it with good ol' fashioned hard liquor.
