i'm related to Triad members, when I was young, my family used to go this temple run by my uncle's mother in law, and I was socialising, fraternising, interacting with them weekly
but I'm not a Triad member, not after what happened to my cousin (the same uncle's son) - he fled to East Malaysia after trying to get out of that particular gang (there's some blood oath you take that you can't leave after being exposed to their secrets)
