Hate the state I live in. Hate most of the people here (my state). Hate the show that is named after the area I live in. Hate the people who watch it religiously.

Hate cold weather.

Can not wait to move to a warmer area with hopefully nicer people.

I've been told I'm really good at massages. Don't know how or why, but apparently I am. So :D.

But in your case I think the flight will ruin your back more than I can cure.

Sorry to hear that mojo. I've talked to quite a few people in the UK who are having one hell of a time finding work. You should just move here. Do you have any idea how fast an Englishman could find a job in Texas? It would make your head spin. :D

Hehe, why is that?

And yeah, I can;t even begin to describe how difficult it is to find work. It's completely shattering. Especially when you have employers that interview 200 people that they don't even need. I always end up being drawn to the idiot employers.

:whythis:

Texas has always been a messed up place for jobs in my experience. My mother left that state because of that reason and that's how we ended up moving to NY.

Higher gas prices are the best thing that could happen in the U.S. long-term, I feel. Finally we might get better and more efficient public busses and trains. People shouldn't complain about high gas prices; they should complain about poor public transportation.

Too bad no one complained on the news that they might have to start living without electricity or without heating for their homes. Maybe then they could just complain about how long it would take to integrate alternative fuel sources to power what underlies a major portion of our current existence. Meanwhile, higher prices would do nothing but harm the consumer. The real pressure needs to be on innovation and governmental allocation, without harming the people who simply rely on what's available.

Working on a show with a girl I despise...or despised previously. It being a super small cast (3 people, mainly just the girl I despised and me for most rehearsals) we've had to converse a bit. Over the course of the rehearsal schedule, I've determined that she doesn't suck as much as I previously believed. I think I was kind of biased against her because I hooked up with her ex girlfriend a while back, and she was a total bitch to me then. Now, I realize that she and I get along really well. And she is really very attractive, intelligent, and interesting.

I'm seriously unable to pursue anything for some reason, even just to test the waters. I can't do it, and I don't know why it should be any different with this one girl than with other girls. People keep yelling at me now to go for it, because she has expressed interest, but both of us are too awkward about it for anything to happen for some reason. This...is not me. I do not get flustered like this usually. I'm very irritated and disappointed in myself.

Wait until the play is over to pursue her?

"Oh hey, whatcha eating?"
Its a mango, want a piece?
"GOD no, I don't eat food that has to be shipped halfway across the world to get here."
Umm, fair enough but how many Coca Cola bottling plants are there in the free world? Also, what about the environmental impact of the shipping/housing/feeding of the dead cow you just ate?

Leave me and my exotic fruits be. :(

Wha? I've only ever heard of people moving from the north down here to find work. Maybe it just depends on what job market your searching for work in. For instance, if you're in food service, or almost any manual labor job, or anything in the oil industry, it would be shocking NOT to find a job down here. Those aren't the only jobs hiring, but that covers alot of area here.
