Grandma got fired the other day, and now she's trying to find another job. It's complete crap, honestly. I feel like she could easily get a wrongful termination suit.

Basically, she has partial dentures, and her partial fell one morning and broke because she accidentally tossed her towel on it after she got out of the shower. She called the dentist, and he told her to bring it in on Tuesday, and she could pick it up on Wednesday.

She's a nurse, and her shifts are Sunday - Thursday, 6:30am - 2:30pm. So, she had to ask someone to cover her shifts, and then volunteered to work a double on Friday, which was one of her days off.

She did this, and they didn't say anything to her until Tuesday of this week, when they fired her for missing two days of work and not giving them "proper notice". So, she's been a nurse for almost 40 years, and they pulled this crap on her.

Not to mention she's been with this particular company for 15 years...

I'm fuming.

^ I bet they were looking for an excuse to fire her for a while. 15 years, she probably makes a ton more than new people.

The only sleep I've had in 48hrs is 3hrs with. I'm overtired and having trouble gettingnto sleep. My parents went on holiday this morning. So I had friends over, told them I was going to bed and they were more than welcome to stay. I can hear EVERYTHING ****ING WORD THEY SAY. they've been smoking in the living room with my brother and now my room smells of cigs. My parents don't smoke so I don't see why my brother and friends should smoke. I'm raging because my room stinks and I'm ****ing shattered and when I'm saying be quieter one friend said "aww aye a remember ma first empty" to which I was angry before she even said that and replied "aww aye a remember ma first bottle ae wine n couldny keep ma mouth shut".


I wish my mum and dad were here. I'd have a pretty smelling room and ****ing good nights sleep. ****sake.

An empty is an empty house, no parents. Wine was referring to Bucksfast, or as slot of people call it "a bottle of what the **** you looking at?" "wreck the house juice" etc. So she was being a bastard on buckfasts behalf. Rest is kids stuff.
