Have you got ANY clue how often your avatar is really funny while reading your postings?

By the way, good luck with that. Sucks

I've been working on the sketch comedy deali-o with my buddies lately, and another close friend has been invited into the project. As a recurring character, not as being in the actual troupe. As per usual, he's decided to try to take charge. (I've done theatre with him before, and any time I had a featured part in a show he was in, he went out of his way to try to convince the director(s) and me that he should be in my featured scene.)

His input has consisted of him ripping off scenarios and lines from Family Guy or American Dad, verbatim in some cases ("With great mustache comes great responsibility.") and saying that he'll film and direct the whole thing. (He's never worked a camera.) Oh, and all of his episode pitches conveniently omit the actual sketch group, and are just him going off on his own and us rescuing him at the very end. That's the formula. Lovely.

Oh! The other two members of the troupe likewise voiced concerns on the matter, and apparently expect me to shoot down his pitches because they don't want to look like douchebags. I don't either!

I'm going to seriously have an aneurysm.

How old is this guy?

If you think somewhere beneath his ego the actual person is in there, try to ask questions until he realizes what an ass he is. I think its best for them to realize their Dbaggery on their own. e.g. "So what you're saying is you want to shoot a video for 30 mins and we're in 3 minutes of it?"

If he's beyond help, just pitch videos where he isn't in the sketch at all.

Send them videos of you burning the presents they were meant to receive. Show them your christmas spirit!

You're funny!

I got one of them a gigantic gingerbread man which is about 2 ft tall. That would look awesome if I set it on fire.

To any Canadians here: is Timmy's not doing the Christmas coffee cups this year? If not, that sucks.

I had a hair in my mouth, and I couldn't figure out where it was, so I couldn't pick it out and just had to deal with this. Screw everything about that.
