Thank you all for the suggestions, I will try them next time I have the hiccups!

My ex-wife filed a third restraining order in efforts to keep me from seeing my son. Lame. Hoping this one will be as easy to beat as the last two.

Wtf why?

i f*ckin hate when divorced couples hold a grudge for wthv personal reasons
if you're not a violent man or legally insane why shouldn't you be able to see your son?

idk the personal details with your situation but i have seen alot of cases where Parents hurt their kids over petty grudges with their exes

Badmouthing each other through their kids and all that immature sh*t
for the sake of their kid, parents should put their personal bullsh*t aside

This is just her latest attempt to keep me out of my son's (and therefor her) life. This happens every so often whenever I piss her off or she gets a new boyfriend or I don't give her money to blow. She puts her wants above the well-being of our two year old son. She dumps him off on others so that she can go out and party, and she brings guys home around him (some of whom she meets off the internet for sex, some from bars, some who do drugs and some who are violent convicts [no joke]). Whenever I call her on her bullsh*t I see some kind of backlash, either not letting me see or contact my son, or going so far as to file these restraining orders. I know that I will get this one dropped as well, but it sucks because I get no contact with my son until the court date, and knowing her she will draw the case out as long as humanly possible.

I am neither insane nor violent. She, on the other hand, has been forcibly placed in a mental hospital nearly half a dozen times and has attacked me before, even in front of our son. I'm in no way claiming to be perfect, but I love my son with everything in me and will do whatever I have to to ensure his safety and happiness.

Holy crapola! Given all that then how has she custody of your son rather than you? Sounds like she has a real case for being named mother of the year, not. I don't understand.

Feel for you man, hope you get it sorted. You should file, no?

Yeah, that´s a terrible situation for you and your baby. I don´t know about your circumstances, or the relevant laws, but it sounds like you should get as much legally-secured time with your son as you can.
At two years old, at least he shouldn´t remember some of the strange things happening around him right now, but a kid grows up best in a stable environment, so anything you can do to establish that would help.
Very sorry to hear that you have to confront such obstacles between you and your boy oojay.

Right now, I'm dealing with a 40 year old man child who was told to leave twice by my mother, and refused to do so. I have pretty much no contact with him at all these days, and I refuse to be in the same room with him. He's come home drunk on numerous occasions, and taken his frustrations out on me and my siblings. He's told me that I don't deserve to live in my own damn house, and he's told me how I'm a worthless piece of ****. He's now using our dog to communicate to other people, and frankly my family and I have had enough. He refuses to listen to anyone about anything, and constantly curses us under his breath, it's ****ing pathetic. I'm just pissed we have to force him out with a legal practitioner even though he isn't on the deed of the house, pays for nothing, and eats all of our damn food. I am beyond frustrated, and if he starts something with me again I'm going to straight up say "No one wants you here, my mom is sick of you, we're all sick of you, and you give us nothing, but ****. Why don't you just buy a gun and just shoot yourself, you piece of **** waste of space."

Tough situation. Sorry to hear about it. But if he has no legal rights to be there why can't you just get the cops if he won't move out? If he's not welcome and has no stake in the house you should be able to throw him out should you not?

That's not really going to end well. I don't know how it plays out in your head, but seriously... If you think you can change the entire ideology of another human being with that line, then I just ask you to record it. Otherwise, when it fails, just go ahead and work toward being self sufficient to a point where you don't have to be living with that ass hole.
