Agreed. I've seen people come and go, made really close friendships, seen tits and dicks, and I've definitely come a long way from what I once was. I feel like when I log on here the feeling is the same when you visit an old school you graduated/dropped out from. It hasn't really changed, but I have. I've pretty much given up discussing music on this site entirely due to my interests in music becoming more and more strange, and obscure. I still talk about a few popular artists that still stick with me, but other than that it's kind of lonely sometimes not being able to share what I love with someone due to the fact that I'm literally one of a handful when it comes to loving artists sometimes.

I remember the days of MB where we would all talk about more popular artists like Radiohead, Elliott Smith, My Bloody Valentine, of Montreal, and those were exciting times. Gushing over this or that, pissing on "emo" music at the time in favor of more exquisite acts like Cap'n' Jazz or Pg.99. It was all pretty amazing, learning and growing, music tastes blooming. It was probably the most fun I had on a forum which is why I'm still here. This place is responsible for my listening habits for the most part.

I honestly didn't know where I was when I did that and it didn't occur to me until much later how I might be coming across.

I've discovered several albums through your posts in "Last Album You Bought, Downloaded, or Listened To". Often, I'll hit that thread on my lunch and just grab the first thing that looks interesting. Yours always do (unless they're black metal or something).

I hate my Dad. My father is a walking sh*tbag. I know that he puts a roof over my head, but to me, that's not a big deal. Anyone can do that. Besides, I'll be out of the house in just a few years. My Dad b*tches and complains about EVERYTHING! Example: "Son, what the f**k is wrong with you?? Why are you using too much tissue paper? I will punish you for 3 weeks straight!!" My Dad does not understand that I have a runny nose! My Dad is an *ssh*le and a moron. I feel like kicking my father in the stomach. I feel like hitting him over the head with something. I'm so angry; I could explode right now. My Dad is a damn loser. My Dad fails at life. My father got laid off from his job several years ago. My level is a lot higher than my Dad's level.

I got to right here and stopped reading. You should be happy you have a roof over your head. Some people don't even have that. If you'd rather be homeless and on the street, go live on the street, than in a week go back and ask your dad for a roof over your head. Pitiful.

Your level of what? Apparently not your level of putting a roof over people's heads.

As the dad of an adult 26 year old dysfunctional (borderline mentally ill) son living out in my garage, I'm pretty offended by that post in a weird kinda way.
