I have two midterms tomorrow that I'm barely ready for. I've been studying like hell but I don't feel ready. Both of them are also two hour exams...

A good tip is to write essential information highlighted and properly organized on small notebook. Just highlight buzzwords in between the definitions of things. Read this over and over 15 minutes before the exam and 10 times before you go in. Soon as your in the test immedietly write on your exam name sheet as much of the combination of buzzwords as possible.

Worked for my last anthro mid term. Had to know all of the anthro theories (evolutionism functionalism etc) but I didn't know crap about linguistics. That was the other half of the test. So I practised using the whole buzzwords thing and ended up with a suave 96%. Its nice because if you know atleast a little bit about the topics the buzzwords can guide you immensly.

Also I like a girl who I got a long with really well so far (she in one of my classes). But then I found out she was 21 and I lost my cool a little bit after I found out (im barely 17 :O). Which is dumb because she obviously didn't care (although I am not sure if there is some legality issues hahaha) and I was fine before I knew she was older.

I need to get over that and be aa maaaaan. Like conan the barbarian or something.

This might be good advice for liberal arts majors, but it's a shitty way to prepare for an analytic exam. I just had a test in modeling of dynamic systems, buzz words on my exam were ones like "linearization of the state space model", "step response of a second-order system", "non-homogeneous differential equation", i.e. technical jargon that requires understanding rather than memorization to process.

I don't think I even remember how to study for "memorize a bunch of shit" tests anymore. Thank satan that period of my academic career is over.
