I have a lady that has complained that three of our used records have scratches on them. I looked and they're superficial at best and also priced to reflect the condition. I look over and I see her taking a record out of the sleeve, placing it on my coffee table without anything under it, checking the record in the light by bending down to the level of the table, and then sliding the record towards the edge of the table so she can get her fingers under it.

Gritted my teeth and told her that this is how records gets scratches and if she does it again, I'm going to have to charge her for it. She huffed.

Ughhhhhhhhhhh.

She actually huffed at me. I couldn't believe it. She ended up buying the one she slid across the table so I let it go after that but man I hope she never comes back. F*ck.
