There are buses here in Greensboro but it's so stupid the way the routes are set up that I don't even bother unless I absolutely have to. You have to go downtown and transfer to go pretty much anywhere. So it will take you a good couple hours total to go Walmart which by car would take you 15 mins each way.

I mean this isn't a big city but it's big enough you would think they would have decent transport. It's bigger than Providence RI and they had a great bus system when I lived there.

This place is just ghetto. There's no stores around me other than corner stores, family Dollar, liquor store and a Walgreens. If I want to buy clothes, appliances, etc I have to spend half the day on the bus, and then there's always some sort of pointless drama or beef on the bus on top of it.

most of those cameras are either dummies for deterrence or they're on and nobody is watching. They use them as evidence after the fact if an incident occurs. But if nobody notices in time the cameras really don't mean ****.

Stealing from stores is beyond easy. Of course I stopped all that because if you do get caught the consequences really aren't worth it. But every time I got caught I was being sloppy. That's what I do
I get comfortable getting away with stuff and think I can do whatever I want and then I get a reality check.

Yeahhhhhh I pay $150 a month to park in a garage. Reason being that my city decided that you can't park overnight on the street literally anywhere unless you have a very specific pass for that street which have all been taken and you need to spend forever on a waiting list until somebody moves basically. Even if you get them, they cost money too. $90.

Parking is a daily frustration in my life.

I went 9 years without a car, and just took the train everywhere. It sucked, but I got used to it. Then, something inside me snapped and I had to start driving again or I'd go insane. As you can see, crisis averted because driving is so much more relaxing.

I have a roundabout outside my work. I often just stay an extra 5 minutes to let the idiot masses figure out how it works because i swear to god i feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about it JUST ****ING GO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY IDIOT DON"T STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROUNDABOUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING????????

I don't think enough attention was paid in driving school to yield signs. I remember in HS they were just like "Here's what a yield sign looks like. You stop sometimes. Moving on." I have one on the main road after I leave my place. A side street merges into a two lane 40mph road with ZERO lead up. It should be a stop but it's a yield and it's a daily game of "will this person stop or are they just gunna barrel into my lane?" It's terrible and I want the city to fix it but they never will.
