My mentor teacher is a dragon lady and I am terrified of her. Coincidentally, her name is Mrs. Death***** (stars inserted due to privacy etc.) But seriously, her surname has the word 'death' in it. I am scared.

To us, it's only fun to an extent. At first it might be kind of cool but after a while it just feels as though we're there solely for others people entertainment as the novelty just doesn't seem to wear off and we're still being asked to say this and say that.
Ha, so true! And also the amount of people that say ''HAHA NEUKEN IN THE KEUKEN!!'' (which rhymes and means ****ing in the kitchen in Dutch) is just extroardinary... Like, seriously 1 in 5.

Oh and, I am from Amsterdam, and whenever I say that, people tend to ask me whether I am either a prostitute, stoned right now, or if I wear clogs...? Really irks me! haha.

My pet hate... people who say "oh you're from Australia! I had a friend in Sydney you might know him..." NO I DON'T!!! Ok, so Australia is much smaller than the USA, significantly smaller population - wise... but there are 20 million people there!

And Adelaide, where I lived, is some 1300km from Sydney... the chances aren't great I'd know some random friend of a Wisconsinite living in Sydney...

And really, now, the Crocodile Hunter is dead. It was tragic and horrible and very sad, but people can really stop using him as a stereotype for all Aussies now...

Americans do that a lot, but in our defense it's not like the rest of the world is immune from it. Try being an American abroad from 2000-2008...nonstop Bush comments. As if we all voted for him.

That and any time a non-US related topic came up, they would stop and ask me if I knew what they were talking about. As if all Americans are ignorant rednecks. I was considering just telling people I was Canadian.

So, enjoy that all you guys get is stuff about your accents. I wish I had that...

On top of all of this, I have a typical American accent, but I say some words in a weird ways.
I go to school in Western New York and people are always asking me to say things since I pronounce things differently.
I don't think it's annoying at all, it's annoying when people say that I'm saying things wrong, but it's not annoying when they're curious about the way I pronounce things.

One of my cats just died. She was probably the most loving cat I've ever seen. The most irreplaceable pet I've ever had.

Her name was Zoey.
