But that's my point...You can't compare them, but how else can you determine which is more valuable?

Has anyone heard the saying "Time is money." I believe your boss has said that to you. In the bible time says that if you live by time it should be Gods time. God cares not how much money you have.

When you have not enough money you learn to live without alot of things that others might have. Time on the other hand must not be wasted or at the end of life you will feel like you did not make use of your time.

Just making a couple points. Tell me what you think.

Money has more value. I think that can be empirically observed. Most people who have lived over 100 years have achieved very little (business-wise) with their lives, whereas people born to extreme wealth can achieve a lot of the things they want to achieve a lot more easily than most other people. Money grants you equipment, training, education etc. and the more you have the more such benefits. Time does give you the opportunity to enhance your abilities so that you can make the most of the opportunities that DO arise, but money gives you a lot more opportunities so the odds are on the side of money.

For example an amazing poker player sat at the table with no money can win nothing. A crappy player with a hundred pounds/dollars has the worst case scenario of losing that money, in which case they are in the same situation as the guy with no money. Any other situation they leave the table with more. Obviously that ignores the question of what they had to do to get the money to begin with.

Agreeable, however, what good is an opportunity if you can't make good use of it? Which in a way proves both are very requisite in modern society. Finding the proper balance between time and money seems to be the determining factor in success. So how should one balance the two?
