Maybe your cat just doesn't like the full moon?

i also have to point out how funny it is to me that the only people decrying astrology as bunk are also the only ones who associate it with predisposed behavior.
Not necesarilly predisposed behavior, but linear alteration there of. We can pretty much toss out stuff like horriscopes since they're nonsensical vagueries. Stripping it to the core of what it really is astrology is something like the studies of how gravitational pull or waves of light affect human behavior. As far as gravity, why aren't astronauts the most emotionally distressed people ever? As for light waves, turn your light off and on and see if it affects your mood. Also do so with a moving light, since stars and planets don't hold still. Notice any changes? Probably not.

I really am not a fan of astrology but there is no denying that a full moon does affect animal behaviors.

I said the body's behavior , not the mind.
It may affect that too , I couldn't say. Like I said I think there MAY be something in it. I'm not arguing that it is true or not. Not everything has to be in black & white.

In that case, agreeable. Too much gravity will kill you.

the cat freaks out for about 2-3 days around the time of the full moon, doesn't matter what time of day it is. it's not just a matter of him seeing a big white blob in the sky at night.

i totally agree that horoscopes are bogus and should never be read for anything more than poops and chuckles.

aren't astronauts well conditioned to handle every type of stress involved in space flight, mental, physical, emotional? wouldn't the financial backers of the space programs ensure that there's proper psychological treatment for the astronauts they've invested so much into? didn't an astronaut go batpoop insane last summer and drive nonstop across the US wearing diapers to try to kill another woman?

as for light not affecting mood. come on... sit in a room with nothing but a strobe light going at random speeds for a few hours and tell me you won't feel a little off by the end of it? try sitting in the dark for a few days. notice any changes? still feeling all spry and chipper?

Possibly but what evidence is there that it had anything to do with gravity as opposed to just being mentally unstable?

At this point we're discussing lights as and not about to stars. It may be undirectly to astrological claims, but it simply isn't astrology unless one could find proof that only stars, moons, and planets emitted the kind of lights to create this affect.
