Statistically, women get in less accidents than men. I don't know if this is because, on average, men typically do a lot more driving and for longer periods of time... but all I know is that every time I pass a car going ridiculously slow on the highway and swerving all over, going off the road, or nearly hitting someone; it's a woman driving and she's on a cell phone, about 95 percent of the time.
To me, bad driving isn't just limited to whether you get in a car accident or not. Driving habits are a part of driving and just because bad driving habits haven't contributed to a violation or accident yet, doesn't mean you're a great driver. It just means you haven't had the chance to contribute to the statistics yet.

With that in mind, people constantly on their cell phone or doing makeup or other distracting things behind the wheel, regardless of gender, are bad drivers. I just usually see more women doing those things than men.

It's surprising that the statistics don't reflect that. Again, I wonder if it has something to do with the difference in amount of driving per gender.
