as some of you may or may not know, my dad lives over 3000 kilometers away, on the other side of the country. He resides somewheres in BC, and is a machinist. I got a phone call from him, and apparently, he might send me some plane tickets to BC! YEAAAHHHH

I haven't seen him in a really long time so this would be fun. We're almost exactly the same, too. We both don't like TV, we both have a background in 3D modeling, and we are both linuxtards. I miss my dad

machinists can't get jobs very easily in this part of canada. on the other hand, western canada has oil fields and in order to drill oil, you need machines to be built for that job. Dad makes the parts for those machines. it's pretty cool.
