I reckon ToeAndo or Lucifer Sam would make pretty good Mods

This is important.
It would strengthen your suggestions if you state good reasons why you think a certain member would make a good mod.
The same goes for any opposite opinions.
Just be reasonable and civil.

Will those who've already made theirs, please elaborate.

Okay, JayJamJah because he has a strong knowledge of music and is one of the nicest members on this board. He has definitely contributed.

I think I would be good, been a mod on tons of forums in the past. However, I am still relatively new here so probably not right to pick someone like me over a more deserving 'old timer'.

Sweet Nothing would be a good suggestion, level headed (when not talking about Radiohead), good input on a range of subjects throughout the forum (when not talking about Radiohead) and seems to be a fairl well respected guy around here (when not talking about Radiohead)

Easily Sweet Nothing or Sam, because they actually know what they're talking about, a skill a lot of MBers lack.

The last time you tried this, who was modded?

If my memory serves me right it was Big3...although I may be mistaken. It was about 2 years ago.

Wayfarer would make a good mod imo.

Good arguments, good taste, respectful. Also makes sure to fully answer a question when posting. Actually has grammar unlike half of the members on here. I don't know what else to say? I guess it all comes down to if that person can devote enough time to it.

All of his posts are quality, he's very knowledgeable and open minded about music, starts quality threads. I actually thought he was a mod until I figured out the mods had bold sn's.

i come and go on this forum but always come back.. but the these 3 always stick out to me.. mainly becasue of music discussions or music suggestions they have given which is the reason for me coming

I've often fantasized what life would be like as a mod, the respect, the hate mail, the life of debauchery, the blue lettering in your name, sounds so cool.

Trust me-it really is not all that cool.

My vote is on sweet nothing because he's contributed a ****load and he's friendly towards everyone.

ToeAndo went through the effort to organize the MB essential music polls and on top of that is a great, level-headed and intelligent contributor to the boards and I think those are credentials for a good mod

And the same goes for Lucifer Sam too. Smart lad, great musical taste and an important part of MB

In that respect I'd say Sweet Nothing would make for a good mod too

I know its probably odd to pick yourself but I'll make a case.

I think The Unfan should get mod status because he is a fairly active forum member, fairly well versed on music depending on genre and keeps an open mind to everything musically. The Unfan also has a very open schedule and can spend weird hours modding that others likely can't if necessary.

Unfan for mod.

And if there's no post count/time restriction, Janszoon for sure. He's attained a level of maturity that some of our older members would do well to respect.

sweet nothing is my only choice, he seems pretty well tempered and friendly towards everyone, which I think are important quailities for a mod to have.

I do have a qualm with Sam though, I think he knows a **** ton about music and I respect his opinion most of the time, I just think he's often a little to much of an arrogant ******* to make a good mod, no offense to him. It doesn't bother me, but I can see him being a little intimidating to new people and possibly bullying them.

Wouldn't mind it though I'm not sure their looking for a repeat.

I know I'm not the most knowledgable, or the most well-liked, but I'm fair and in the last year or so I have aided in stopping the MB drama that occurs every so often. I can also be well-written when I need to be.

So although I believe this is in vain....
I begin my campaign...
