Student surveyors I'm not sure. They're obviously in a surveying class so they're probably in a lab. There's a lot of equipment you have to learn about, a lot of techniques to cover, and a lot of regulations and guidelines to learn. So probably a combination of those things. My intro to surveying class was probably my hardest class freshman year believe it or not.
