Can you re-boil pasta?
 

If you cook up some pasta and it turns out to be a little under done can you put another pot of boiling water on and throw the pasta in it for a few more minutes of boil time? Or will that do irreparable harm to the pasta?

Please help me to understand this important issue.

Need to re-boil it...non-existent.

If it's underdone then it was never cooked properly in the first place so it won't make any difference whatsoever.

Well, if I was one of those people I'd just eat the underboiled pasta and not worry about it. :p:

So what I'm getting here is that re-roiling would not be a good idea.

once you boil pasta,.....it gets a starchy build up around it,...which its supost to, but when you reboil it can get really gummy,.....if i were you,...

i'd just put the pasta sauce on it, throw it in a pan and bake it for half an hour,......its good,...and it will soak up enough sauce to finish cookin
