Can you re-boil pasta? (quote)

If you cook up some pasta and it turns out to be a little under done can you put another pot of boiling water on and throw the pasta in it for a few more minutes of boil time? Or will that do irreparable harm to the pasta?

Please help me to understand this important issue.

uhhh,...if your like,....one of those people that will eat anything i guess that would be fine,...i, however, would start over

Need to re-boil it...non-existent.

If it's underdone then it was never cooked properly in the first place so it won't make any difference whatsoever.

Well, if I was one of those people I'd just eat the underboiled pasta and not worry about it.

So what I'm getting here is that re-roiling would not be a good idea.

once you boil pasta,.....it gets a starchy build up around it,...which its supost to, but when you reboil it can get really gummy,.....if i were you,...

i'd just put the pasta sauce on it, throw it in a pan and bake it for half an hour,......its good,...and it will soak up enough sauce to finish cookin
