I keep forgetting that the legal age for drinking in the US is 21, that must suck. Over here it is 14 sorry 18

Here in Turanto, Canadia, it's 19. In other parts of Canadia it's 18. But, really, I started in gr. 9 : )

Let me assure you the U.S. is ridiculous. I think 1 out of 5 students from my high school graduating class has gotten an underage. People are so up tight, it's ridiculous.

It's the same here. We only have to wait til 19, yet here we are, sneaking mickeys in our socks and such.

I think that because of that alone, Canada wins the coveted "ridiculous" award.

It's really silly. In the US when you're 18 you can buy cigarettes, porn and lottery tickets, you can vote, and you can join the military. But for some reason they don't think you can handle alcohol. They need to either lower the drinking age or raise the everythingelse age.

Well, I'm totally broke so I'd probably arrive already drunk off something horrendously cheap. Maybe buy a beer or cider and sit back and watch the rap battle unfold (My money's on da rhymenoceros, I hear he was raised by a rapper).

Legal drining age was 19 when I had my first sixer of Beer at 12 here in the states.

Two things would happen if we lowered the drinking:

1. We would have to willingly accept the matyred generation that would assuredly come with it (I am for this, **** em)

2. Bars would loose business. I will promise that no one wants to hang out with a bunch of (essentially) 17 year olds trying to outman and one up each other.

That being said I don't give a **** what they do. I turned 26 two weeks ago, I started drinking late into my 23rd year of life. I'm not convinced I missed anything worth a damn.
