The official I HATE MY JOB THREAD!!!! (Queen, members, quote)

When I was in Scotland I had a job in telemarketing, whereby I'd be given a list of about 500 random phone numbers in order to try and sell kitchens to their occupants. I walked out of it after about a month, and frankly I'd rather be unemployed (as I am now) than have to do all that bollocks again.

They just laid off the best CAD drafter we had, and now we're left with a meatheaded guy who does nothing but watch porn all day. Lucky him...

And even though I've been at my job 11 years, I'm beginning to believe that it doesn't matter anymore. No one is safe!

I don't know how you did it for a month. That has to be one of the worst jobs ever...telemarketers have to have nerves of steel.

It's not only that (and yes, I got told to go **** myself a whole load of times), but when you're pestering literally hundreds of random people for money they don't want to hand out it really plays on your conscience after a while. Especially when you're making pathetic amounts of money in doing so.

I'm a janitor part time (still in high school), and as much as I dislike cleaning, it's better than working in fast food.

I switch between being a student and working a full time job/internship as a surveyor for minimum wage. Surveying sucks. It's the most mind numbingly dull job ever created.

I used to work at a saw mill but I got layed off after about 7 months. Worked with a bunch of mother fuckers who all hated their lives. Couple good guys I stuck around, but I had to deal with a lot of assholes. I now work up in the mountains chokin lumber, buckin trees, splittin, loadin and selling firewood. Over the years Ive learned what a good hard days work is all about. I dont mind though, it builds character.
