Activision has been working to bring you some cool previews of the game, stuff for your computer, info hopefully you'll find it helpful if you're looking for the game and instruments, track listings and more!
Wander over to our Guitar Hero section located here Guitar Hero® Metallica® to download wallpapers, buddy icons and banners, check out photos, news, and videos, and see if the instruments you already have will work with the new game (most do!). For even more on the upcoming game, visit the brand new Guitar Hero: Metallica site here. Guitar Hero® Metallica®

And keep watching . . .

UPDATES ON GUITAR HERO METALLICA

In case you didn't guess already, King Diamond will be featured in guitar hero metallcia! King says: "It's been absolutely amazing to be a part of this Guitar Hero experience. It was quite a trip to re-record the song 'Evil' almost 25 years after the original recording took place. The end result with four out of the five original musicians turned out so much better than I would ever have hoped for. Seeing my animated character take form was totally eerie in a very good way. It's so strange to see yourself animated in such perfect detail - cross bone microphone, Eye necklace and all. This game looks and sounds METAL all the way. HORNS UP!!!"
Check out the pix of King!

credit to Metallica.com for the information, ill keep updated.

Not a big fan of metallica, but hell yeah, I'm getting this game.

Why get this game when both Guitar Hero 2 and Rock Band 2 are far superior <_<

Is there something wrong with me because of the fact that I have no inclination to ever lay a hand on that Guitar Hero game?
Even though I play guitar?

Everyone I know plays it. I feel like it'd actually take a bribe for me to even give it the time of day.
I'm not snobbish, but I have an unhealthy distaste for the way that little plastic guitar looks and the implications carried by it.

Is it just me?

They should have put St. Anger and some kind of monster in it.

I can see how a real guitarist can be put off by the game Guitar Hero. As long as you're not thinking less of people who enjoy that game then it's fine.

Nah I don't think less of them.

I just can't see how it'd be fun.

I get drunk and bust out the acoustic.
I guess I should broaden my horizons or something.
