ABV: 4.6%
Tried it for the name...loved it for the not-too-spicy-but-very-gingery taste. Seriously, it was smooth and just above subtle.

I was about to say this before I saw the last sentence. No reason to do anything drastic. And if you have... bladder issues when you pass out after drinking the better part of two twelve-packs, then take it from me, switching to liquor is a problem solver.

Luckily I haven't had to worry about that for a while, as I don't drink at least twice a week like I used to, but if I ever resume my alcoholism, I'll be sure to drink only liquor whenever I'm drinking to get wasted. Beer is for mid-day when you're just kicking back and catching a decent buzz.

Haven't had it. I live in walking distance from Belching Beaver so it's all over the place here.

Bought six craft beers (ballast point, left coast brewing's asylum, etc.) and the liquor store owner gave me a four pack of these Russian River's Damnation for free. FOR FREE!

As far as I know beer doesn't really make one fat by itself, it's more that one tends to eat more when drunk. (And sit around on one's fat ass, instead of doing things.)
But cutting back is a good decision in itself.
And as a soviet I recommend vodka anyway.

Let's see... last night was:

Watermelon Pucker
Fireball Whiskey
Rumplemintz

...all washed down with a 12 pack of Busch. Then a craptastic performance on the Strat.

I think I'm still drunk.
