It's illegal to sell beer at a liquor store in Virginia (no idea why) just like it's illegal to sell liquor anywhere but a state run liquor store. So if the supermarket/gas station/bar doesn't have it, then you have no other options. And most places have mostly piss beer, so our options are really, really limited. The only reason I was able to find this **** was because I went to Harris Teeter, which actually has a good selection of stuff in general, though it's an expensive, cracker store.

I'll look for that though. What kinda beer is it? Harris Teeter was good enough to have all the different kinds organized (Raging Bitch was with all the other IPA's), so it'd make it hella easier to find it if I knew.

Temperance laws are ****ing stupid. Asylum is a Belgian Tripel made by Left Coast Brewing Company and it's one of the most delicious beers I've ever had.

I'm guessing you just don't like or haven't yet acquired a taste for IPAs? Raging Bitch tastes yummy.

Although I'm drinking straight up Kale/Spinach juice atm and loving it.

I don't hate it or anything, it's just a bit bitter for me ATM. And no, I haven't really tasted much in the way of non-**** beers.

I could see myself getting used to this, though, and as I drink more of it, and kill my sense of taste, it's getting more and more palatable. My uncle told me earlier that I have to take time to get used to it, and if it's high alcohol %, then I can definitely see myself giving the time needed to acquire.
