Bought two six packs of 16oz Steele Reserve cans (for $10!) and have been making my way through them all weekend. God damn do they pack a punch. I'm about to finish my last four or five cans (with some extra from two partial cans that I never finished after blacking out) and I expect to be respectably lit before I pass out. Will make going into work at 7 am tomorrow a dubious prospect, but YOLO.

It seems to be giving me a tiny boost in confidence as I make my way through Alien: Isolation, which is turning out to be one of the most emotionally taxing games I've ever played.

Viva la malt liquor!

(Note, I did not pour that pint glass in the picture)

Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale

It's almost autumn so it's time to get ready for pumpkin flavored everything. While I generally avoid most of that crap I did really get into pumpkin ales, specifically Rogue's Pumpkin Patch Ale. I guess their batch isn't ready yet or nowhere in town is going to stock it so I have to settle for Blue Moon's version which isn't half bad. I don't really like their main stuff but their seasonals tend to be pretty good, like their horchata cinnamon ale. It will satisfy my pumpkin ale urge until Rogue gets their shit together or I find somewhere that stocks Shipyard Pumpkin Ale.

$13 for a 6 pack. Was good but I won't buy it again at that price. Got good reviews on BeerAdvocate.

Got me some Colt 45, and I had no idea that it had a lower alcohol content than Steele Reserve (6.10% vs. 8.1%). I am not pleased.

Six 16oz. I'm gonna be good, but I've been getting used to passing out and waking up with one to two unopened cans, and half of another one.

lol, we've all been there. That's probably about my limit I reckon, King Goblin x 4 @ 6.6% and 500ml (17.6oz) would do me.

Tasty as fuck though.
