Also you don't need a big budget to market something successfully. In a lot of cases it comes down to branding.

A love for eel and squid makes me a little less predisposed to being grossed out by it I think. Eel can be some next level **** man, I'd eat it a few times a week if I could afford it. Never prepared it myself though, it's a bit intimidating.

Had it in a big tomato based stew that was obviously really slow cooked cause the veggies and potatoes were totally broken down. Was intimidated at first but it ended up being amazingly delicious. Next to Peking Duck, maybe the best thing I've ever eaten in China.
