Some recent food pics. Breakfast this morning:



Fried some chicken up:





Supper from the other night:



Paella:



Cheeseburgers w/ jalapenos and onions, the beef was from the butcher then made into patties:





Pork ribs, didn't do them on the bbq cheated with the oven:

I thought so. Well I got up to some baking again this weekend. The pics are not resizing for whatever reason, they're a little on the large side.

Has anyone ever tried making their own sushi? My dad and I are thinking about giving it a go and I was curious if it's as hard as it sounds.

I made a rainbow roll using the recipe and instructions from this website: How To Make Sushi | The Easy Way

I seriously recommend that site. There are even little GIF images you can click on that will demonstrate how to roll and do inside out rolls and all that stuff.

I think the key to successful sushi and sashimi is in how well you butcher and fillet the fish. I wasn't very good at it but it turned out surprisingly well. I think it just takes a little practice.
