The difference in feeling is largely in your head...I used to get a little upset my parents got me cut without my consent, but I completely "get it" now.

Circumcision isn't designed to prevent children from masturbating, and it doesn't come anywhere close to accomplishing that deed (though it should really only ever be performed after puberty, because that's definitely child abuse)....it's a sign of LOVE and RESPECT for females that a guy is so concerned with producing an orgasm in the female body he chose to remove a little part of his own body to help her get there.

In a "perfect" world (where all men were heterosexual) common-law practice would be a non-issue. But leaving room for someone and their emergent sexuality involves making room for those effeminate men who invariably grow up to be gay and wondering why the fuck their dick looks somewhat funky.
