Here's in me in 1996 at a friend's birthday party. I was 6, and was wearing an Alice in Wonderland dress with an ugly white sweater thing over it. My mom still has both pieces of clothing for some stupid reason.

And here's me in 2008, age 18. A really bad photo taken by my friend at the high school jazz band concert. It was poorly cropped by her too.

I'm the one in the floral dress in the first one, the right hand corner in the 2nd, and the white jacket in the third.

I guess I thought I was so ****ing cool sitting by Mickey's Piano in Disneland.

Its a Farida FH-18. Originally £300, I bought mine at a knockdown price of £150. After getting it set up and fret levelled (The standard fretwork was playable, but not great), I changed the string guage to 11s and its actually become my main axe. It has this really great bluesy sound to it. The only bummer is that the tuners aren't staggered, so the high E has a chime to it that won't go away until I either install string trees or a set of staggered tuning posts.

I cant see you rocking 3 singles, especially over that Ibanez you have but I guess the most unlikely people are strat style players.

Well, I bought it purely so i'd have that option. The Bridge is still a humbucker (Although a much more chimey, vintagey one), but I do use that guitar mainly for blues and the neck pickup on it absolutely nails the SRV sound.

Plus its a really fun guitar. Really fun. Its my main player these days, I haven't even touched the 6 string ibanez in months, and the 7 string has been relegated to 'metal specific' duties. Most everything else now goes to this guitar.

I used to do that until I got this les paul. It can get a pretty convincing blues feel and downtune quite well to any metal I may need. 8 pounds of solid mahogany ftw I now understand why people love them so much. One thing they cant do though, sound like a fender.
