Can I just add that I also hate how YouTube has gone crazy about copyrights. Was it always like this? So many videos I click on have had the sound removed, for using just a snippet of a song or something. I've even been warned that one of my videos may be taken down because of the use of a small part of a song as background music. Was youtube always this vigilant about copyright stuff? What do you guys think?

^ No, it didn't start out that way.
But as the site increased in popularity and gained mainstream attention, it's only a natural course that copyright issues would become focused on.

Yeah, YouTube is heading towards the sh*tter alright.

But soon there will be an alternative and it'll do until it meets the same fate. It's the never ending cycle of internet business.

It sucks that they can mute a whole video for 5 seconds of music. And the worst thing is commercials that cant be skipped through, that's just f*cking unacceptable. Aren't the popup ads that are all over the internet good enough?

One of my main uses for YouTube is music, but I dont mind if I can't use it for that anymore.

As long as there's still a lot of videos of women getting their heads shaved, I'm cool.

I heard recently that YouTube was going to drop support for Internet Explorer 6. It's outdated (current version is 8) and a pain in the ass (and waste of time) for developers to battle with it trying to make website work in it along with all the other browsers. It's quirkier than others. It's old news, time to upgrade.

That's all there is to that message.

Another horrible thing about YouTube right now is how you can't find the original clip of something, but there's a bunch of awful youtube poop vids and fanmade "tributes" as far as the eye can see.
