Yes. My system is ludicrously overspecified in every area bar graphics card. I don't run anything more graphically demanding than TF2 on this machine for the time being, and as such, I don't really need a massively powerful card. It would be nice if my card supported HDCP, but that can wait until such time as an upgrade is needed.

Plus, having 12GB of ram and being able to use all of it is ****ING AWESOME. 64 bit rules!
What exactly do you do with your computer? Seems like a total overkill if you aren't encoding insane amounts of data. I didn't know zalman made gpu coolers (or are you mistaking that for your cpu) because there really is no point spending money on a cooler for an 8600gt when you could use that money to buy a card 3 times better.
