I should start adding warnings at the beginning of my posts.

Arya Stark 09-23-2009 12:47 PM

You really should. xDDD

VeggieLover 09-23-2009 12:49 PM

Lol, like vegangelica and how she puts ratings on the top of her poems. Do it.

I'm pretty sure your username being attached to your posts is warning enough.

;)

This sexist law is the same in theory, although not in degree, as laws in conservative Muslim countries that force women to cover their whole bodies/hair/even faces. If men can be topless, than women should be able to be topless, also. If men can show their hair, then women should be able to, also.

If people feel it is attractive for women to cover up their bodies/breasts in public, then that should be a *choice* and not one that is forced on women. I feel that women covering the body in the name of fashion/decency is unattractive not because of appearance but because of the underlying belief that the sexes do not deserve the same rights and privileges...a belief that I find extremely unattractive.

Now that's a feminist statement I can get behind. :thumb:

Oh, out of curiousity, what's your opinion on women shaving their heads? Because I think what you're saying applies to that as well.

Even putting aside the fact that I have a huge fetish for it, it just seriously confuses me as to why women are expected to shave every part of their body yet when they shave their heads it's some horrifying abomination against god and nature that should be shunned upon. Where's the consistency in that?

But of course guys can do it, and when they do it are they compared to cancer patients or nazi skinheads? Um no. I guess their excuse is that they're too vain to just let people notice that they're going bald naturally, what a bunch of hypocritical douchebags.

Yeeeeeeah, whatever, I'm sorry. We all have that one topic we can never shut up about.

Barnard17 09-28-2009 03:09 PM

No, we all have that one topic that gets our goat and we'll wax lyrical about when it's brought up. We won't all search to find that topic wherever vaguely possible.

Yeah, but c'mon, I'm boo boo, I constantly rant about things no normal person cares about. That's pretty much my whole shtick.

WolfAtTheDoor 09-28-2009 06:33 PM

I agree with this whole new 'leggings serving as jeans' craze, it makes me feel uncomfortable talking to a woman when I know that her vagina is only two layers of incredibly thin material away from me.

Arya Stark 09-28-2009 08:54 PM

Leggings are different here than the ones shown in that pictures. There only a bit more thick, but they aren't see-through like that. xD

DetroitMike 09-29-2009 11:37 AM

Crocs, can't stand those things!

Arya Stark 09-29-2009 11:40 AM

I don't think people wear Crocs to look attractive. They were a weird fad, but I mostly think it's because they're comfortable. My sister had like two pairs.

Urban Hat€monger ? 09-29-2009 02:43 PM

I would add those high waistbanded dresses some girls wear that make them look like they're pregnant.

I am at a loss as to how any girl could look at herself in a mirror wearing one of those things and actually think they look good.

And it makes it so much more difficult to tie their hands together than with a small belt.

It's to deflect rogue projectiles fired at their waists...clearly.

Most likely covered before, but I hate the whole cut off tights look that people are pulling down here.

Freebase Dali 09-29-2009 04:15 PM

You're only excused if you're a fat, Italian iron chef.

Just saying, I don't like to let accessories go to waste.

VeggieLover 09-29-2009 10:30 PM

haaa...as long as the afore mentioned accessory (the belt) doesn't break....thats always akward.... :S

The reasoning behind the belts on the "abs" thing is that it supposedly accentuates the smallest part of a woman's waist. Of course, there are times when it does the opposite and things are almost always taken too far.

My vote is we all just wear clothes for special occasions and when its really cold, and get reaquanted with what it means to be human instead.

Hmm...BALD WOMEN...with SHAVEN HEADS...my opinion: well, boo boo, I feel most women who choose to shave their heads are strong-minded and confident, both of which are qualities I admire. By shaving their heads, they are going against the standard hair for women...which is, well, to *have* head hair. I have no philosophical problem with women shaving their heads. I would consider shaving my head bald every once in a while for efficiency's sake *except* for the fact that I like the built-in sun protection I get from having my head hair. Also, I might not like the prickly stage. Baldness tends to bring out people's facial features more, so perhaps that's why you like bald women? Or is it hard to dissect your fetish?

boo boo 09-30-2009 03:37 AM

I love the look because I think it brings out the facial features more and I also love that you actually get to see what her head is shaped like. Also one thing every guy wants from a girl is smooth skin, and there's nothing more smooth than a shaven scalp.

Hair has come to symbolize materialism and conformity for a lot of women, and when women rewrite the book on what can be sexy, that's something I love. Some religions think it symbolizes rebirth, and it kinda does.

I consider it the ultimate form of nakedness.

That's been around since the dawn of man... and you're right it's pretty ****ing gross.

I used to be pro nudism.

Until I realised all nudists are really old and fat. :(

YES. I have such a deep, searing hatred toward these. They are the ultimate lazy ass shoe. These things are so unbearably ugly, I really don't understand the attraction to these. They are a piece of foam-ish material with holes scattered about, yet they are going for about 30 bucks. I didn't think that they could get any uglier until they came out with the tie-dye looking ones.
