Torrents.

Sorry for the stupid thread but I have to know if there is something else out there... So where is everybody going if demonoid is dead?

I'll stick mostly with public sites like I do now. Just use peer guardian or blocklist manager and you should be fine.

When the **** did demonoid die? And I'd highly recommend blogs; I usually actually find anything that might be on a torrent site plus a whole lot more through blogs. And it's a lot safer.

How do you find blogs that have what you want? What if I wanted like an Aretha Franklin discography?
I didn't even know blogs had d/l for music... =/

LoathsomePete 11-03-2009 02:15 PM

Type Aretha Franklin blogspot - mediafire/ megaupload/ rapidshare and you'll most likely find a blog that has download links inside.

Anyhow while Demonoid may be down it is certainly not dead, however I'm sure it'll be a very different site when it gets back on its feet.

Demonoid makes me very sad. It's really the best all around torrent site out there. I make do with mininova and thepiratebay, but it's just not the same...:(

gunnels 11-03-2009 04:08 PM

The Pirate Bay has been the most reliable for me. If it doesn't turn up anything good I just google "Xalbum- Xartist torrent" and click on whatever sites pop up.

I know quite a few people who use What.cd, I don't use torrents but it could be a possible solution.

NumberNineDream 11-03-2009 04:18 PM

I never had a problem finding working torrents. I just google the thing, and there's always a discography available.

Apart from the very rare occasion, I still don't understand why people use torrents (I still don't D/L films despite having some great links) when you can find virtually anything through various search engines and it's faster too.
