But I was talking more in having a good day with mates without having to spend too much dosh. Alcohol is another matter entirely. Always try to keep enough to keep the weekend eves entertaining.

Either way, money is overrated in relation to having a good time.
Well im at the point where i really cant go out. Im limited as to how far i can get without any cash and what am i gonna do when i get there?

Shouldnt be skint for much longer, but Christmas is gonna wipe me out.

I'm sad because I'm overly broke. I'm sad because I have a job, and they don't give me shifts sometimes. I'm angry because my swimming lessons will stop after next week, so I'll have less money. I'm happy, because I'm visiting the pub after my shift tonight, and cause I got paid !

I wish i could go to the pub. The money both on my person and in the bank amounts to about £3 something i think.

Although earlier in the week i did spend some of my last few quid on some cans of lager and a bottle of cider and tomorrow i am gonna piss and smoke the entire day away.

You should try a sober night on the town. It makes for an interesting kinda social experiment, and sometimes you can actually have a really good time, especially if you can coerce a mate or two into doing it with you. Just spend the time you'd otherwise use for drinking talking to randoms in the smoking areas, dancing (needs good music for that to work with me though, and it's painfully hard to find the stuff in any club) and so on.

Often it sucks, but it's an interesting thing to go out and try.

Im really not sure if i could do that. I've never tried though.

In general i struggle to see the point in going out to the pub or to a club without drinking. Whenever the decision presents itself, i stop in.

It's true that a lot of the time you end up getting bored after wondering into some club and admiring the lighting situation for 5 minutes. As I say though, sometimes you can have a proper good time. Depends where you are, who you're with, what kinds of individuals you encounter on your travels etc.

By the way, I'm liking this Raveonettes album. Only took me 2 weeks, but first impressions are good. Expect that weekly trade thing to be bumped a bit later on.

I'm a bit angry at myself for suddenly losing my ability to talk to pretty girls that I don't know. I've been given a wealth of opportunities this year and I have nothing to show for it. I'm happy about starting a basketball team with my friends, and also that this will be the first year I'll be setting up a pond hockey rink in my neighborhood. Sad because I have no money to go to college, and I'm too lazy to apply for scholarships.
