Regarding health insurance, I watched that documentary Sicko a few days ago and I can't believe how terrible it is over there... I actually felt a little sick. I've had free health insurance from the moment I was born. I spent about 6 months in hospital last year with a serious condition, and had various other hospital visits in my life before that, and I've never had to pay a cent. I seriously cannot understand how you could operate without it!

Same, they don't pay tax though, so it's a little easier to save up! I broke my ankle in 4 places when I was 15 and displaced my calf bone, needed an operation and a weekend in hospital, I shudder when I think about how much money that would have cost to fix. I shudder even more to think about your 6months in hospital. You okay now? What was up ?
