wat?
Bill Hicks? Up there with George Carlin as one of the most well known and loved American stand ups.
The rest are British and are all tremendously funny. Do Americans 'get' British humour? Because there's all this talk of ' British humour' like you don't get it, yet the Brits seem to understand and appreciate American stand up just as much as British stand up. So I just don't know.

Oh okay, I do know who Bill Hicks is, I just haven't heard much of his material because it's from a while ago.
As for that Brithish guy: didn't that guy do a game show or something? I've seen him somewhere before. Maybe the original "Who's Line Is it Anyways?"?

I have been watching so much stand up comedy.
I just watched a 1 1/2 hour tribute to the Latina Queens of Comedy.
Anyone seen it?

How not to handle a heckler:
As much as I love Bill, he had a pretty weak response to the heckler.
How was it "weak"? It was over-the-top and completely stream-of-consciousness, I found it to not only be funny but very satisfying. It's what anyone would have done if they didn't have the social mechanisms to stop themselves. Completely unleashed at her. Better than Carlin's response, I think.
That whole performance is funny. Later on she starts up again and he tells her boyfriend "Sir, will you stick your **** in her mouth and shut her up?". He goes off on a huge rant later when someone shouts "Freebird". I find it to be very entertaining because he bombs so much but doesn't care, he knows it's funny and I know it's funny. The audience were just expecting all **** jokes.

I think had Youtube existed back when Bill did that show, he would have ended with a fate similar to Michael Richards.
