Although I do use "English" as a synonym for "British" from time to time. :D |
well there are a lot of things that Americans ought to be able to do and can't and I feel like them knowing where Wales is isn't really going to change the world.
But -- I had one night in London and I went to Leicester Square and saw a musical, then at night I went to Piccadilly Circus to some clubs then the 02 arena I think its called. It was a blast! partied until 9am! didn't even get to sleep in the hostel I paid for! If there is one thing you Brits know how to do it's party! also, Camden Town is fantastic. And try to fit in as many museums as possible. I really liked the Tate Modern and The British Museum. ahhh everything about London is amazing. |
Men of Welsh decent who signed the declaration of independence - Francis Lewis, George Clymer, Stephen Hopkins, Robert Morris, William Floyd, Francis Hopkinson, John Morton, Britton Gwinnett, Thomas Jefferson, John Penn, George Read, John Hewes, James Smith, Williams Hooper, Lewis Morris, and William Williams. 16/56 isn't a bad shout.
We have the oldest language in Europe, Famous Welsh people - Shirley Bassey, Tommy Cooper, Richard Burton, Catherine Zeta Jones, Rhys Ifans, Anthony Hopkins, Dawn French, Charlotte Church, Rhod Gilbert, Lee Evans, Dylan Thomas. Bands/ Artists - Manic Street Preachers, Funeral For a friend, Stereophonics, Catatonia, Richie Blackmore, Feeder, Goldie Lookin Chain, Lost Prophets, Kids In Glass Houses, The Blackout, Super Furry Animals. I'm just thinking considering the United Kingdom is only made out of 4 countries, it shouldn't be too hard to remember the names of them. Should it? Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales. That's all it is!!! |
