what does that have you do with your gender though? Unless you want your gender to be that of a robot or a cyborg.

I'm a twenty year old male, and I despise gender roles. I honestly can't stand all of the rules and messages I receive on a daily basis from society about how I should be.

I'm fairly androgynous when it comes to the way I present myself. I like having long hair, wearing bright and flamboyant clothing like skinny jeans, striped shirts, etc. I can pull off a masculine or macho look if I have to, but I'm not a fan of dressing that way. It just doesn't reflect who I am.

As for my gender, I'm not a transsexual, but I do frequently wonder what it would be like to be female. I do get moments of dysphoria here and there where I wish I could get a sex change, but then I snap out of it a few minutes later.

Overall, it's not being male that I have a problem with. It's the expectations and gender restrictions that I despise. If the male gender role was expanded the same way that women's roles have been expanded, I'd have no problem whatsoever with being male.
