Let us know how you're hanging on.

I too am trying to kick a coffee habit but I drink lots of Earl Grey to mitigate the comedown. Found a brand of loose EG no one's ever heard of and it's the best I've ever had. Really rich taste.

I've been drinking Hibiscus Tea as it's supposed to be a mild diuretic. It's also supposedly caffeine free. I also find it rather relaxing when I'm lying down for the evening. It might be an option for those trying to get off the caffeine.

I'm an Earl Grey addict as well. Would love to find the brand jadis recommended!

My daughter attended a family friend's engagement party in Boston that I had to miss - and the mother of the bride-to-be (Indian/Hindu family) served chai tea at the event which my daughter said was the best she ever had. The mother kindly sent me a box along with a recipe for masala chai. Haven't been able to make the recipe as yet, but tried the tea on its own and it's really very good.

See? You can't just go cold turkey. Lots of black tea does the trick.

It must be some other stuff besides caffeine that makes coffee the poison it is cause I can have lots of really strong EG tea and feel fine. Like caffeine alone is not the whole story
