I LOVE neopets! I'd play it all the time when I was 12. Stopped a whil ago, but hey, that game's legend

I lost a year of my life to the World of Warcraft raiding every night. The only thing keeping me away from it is the prospect of failing out of school and becoming a shut-in. Barely. /ragequit

Be thankful it was only a year. I know a few people from way back who have been playing since 2004 when it came out. I can count the amount of times I've seen them IRL since then on one hand.

Sad I played with several people very similar to the ones you describe. The game damn near ruined my brother's marriage.

That's the thing... I love the concept behind a MMORPG but I hate what it does to people. I have not met a single person who could honestly say that they should be playing less WoW than they do. Hell even I was pretty addicted from May-July, I just canceled my subscription last week. I read a book called Fantasy Freaks and Gaming Geeks back in December that briefly went over WoW addiction, but it's definitely bigger than I think a lot of people fully realize.

I still find myself watching Clifford or Arthur when it comes on, I don't know, I just do.

I know a few people with that still. They all live in the same house and play constantly. Its damn shameful. I remember having some good times with them all too, not their all getting fat and never see the light of day.

I still enjoy WoW every now and then, but I will only play it for a month or so then quit. I don't wanna like it enough to turn into that.

Arthur was probably the only TV show I really watched as a kid. They don't show it here that much anymore though

This reminds me of the South Park episode dedicated to WoW. Hopefully they're still able to use the facility on their own
