In my experience, it's because males don't have the same standards, so it doesn't seem dirty enough and the woman does it first, or they literally have no idea how to.

EDIT: Maybe women are predisposed to a higher standard of cleanliness because they're biologically geared to ensure a healthy environment for their offspring. ;D

I agree with you that the greater shame is in ridicule for that which you cannot change though..
Only for those who are not the masters of their own mind. This applies to both sexes.
Your observation above is rubbish btw.

Please actually read all the posts on the topic. Same goes for Kayleigh. It's easy to take things out of context like you've done.

Someone else brought up the self esteem issue. I said that women generally feel sexier when they shave (I don't know one woman in real life who would disagree with that). Then someone said that "If women need to shave to feel sexy then they have a self-esteem problem.' Which is a bogus comment in itself. Which prompted me to say that women around here must have self esteem problems them (saying that girls here shave themselves so by her logic I guess they all have bad self esteem). When I said 'most women here' I wasn't referring to this forum at all. I was talking about 'here' as in my area, where I don't know any girls who don't shave.

This is probably the most idiotic debate I've ever seen on here. Congratulations.

Thanks for your opinion

Also, for why women usually do the cleaning... I think it is because guys in general can live messy and not really care all that much, whereas women get grossed out and cant do it.

My ex would come over to my apartment and be horrified with how messy my room was. To me it wasnt that bad. Some empty bottles, some dirty clothes.. Eh, so what it isnt killing me.

I guess I don't fit into the "general" category. I can't stand a messy house... it literally makes me feel like shit. I guess I could entrust pretty much anyone to clean up around my place, as it's not like I feel I'm the only person that can do it correctly, but I've been with some MESSY ASS WOMEN. Dropped, right off the bat.
There's a surprising amount of dirty-living chicks around of all ages. I think it's becoming more prevalent as society whittles away at the cooking/cleaning role being a female thing. I think I've picked up that stuff over the years out of necessity, because most girls now days feel like they shouldn't be required to do it, and end up with being comfortable with the result of that. I'm not saying they don't have the right to be ok with it, but if basic home hygiene isn't at least 50/50, then your ass is out on the street where you belong.

Fun fact:

Since the thread starter is named Dirty, everytime I see this thread in my subscribed list my subconscious reads it as "Dirty hairy armpits on women".

I don't necessarily think it's anything new, but there are definitely plenty of messy women out there. Hell, one of the nastiest roommates I ever had was female.
