Yea I have that same problem. I find myself listening to albums I know I wont even like just because someone reviewed it on here. Then I never listen to it again. I suppose doing that and going through old threads is better than playing a video game...maybe..

Similarly, I'll see someone I haven't seen in awhile and be like... Hey man, how is everything, hows (insert something recent that I'd only know cause of facebook). Then there's than one awkward second where you both realize you only know that fact cause of Facebook and you just feel weird.

On college breaks I'll be out at bars and it's basically a high school reunion so I see all sorts of people I haven't talked to since high school or people I just see on breaks and we pretty much have the same conversation. There's always those awkward moments though where I'll pass by someone and we'll kinda make eye contact, debating whether to give the "whats up bro" head nod, or to say something, or to just keep walking. Cause we think we know each other cause we might've had discussions on FB, but never in real life.

Like I know way too much about so many people I've hardly ever even talked to. Only thing that keeps me on FB is so i can share my music with a bunch of people.

I feel that. Im only 20 so instead of bars I see the same people at friends house parties. That feeling of just being like...oh whats up I havnt seen you in 3-4 years and theirs a reason for that. For the reason you just said I dont use facebook at all. Its the biggest place for attention whores and creepy ****ers who avoid social interaction.

Although you missed one good part of that. I always meet girls I was interested in a while back and have them come over every break. Or at least try haha.

I've never met anyone of WoW but I have real-life friends on WoW, and now that I've started playing we cannot have a conversation without talking about the game. It's a very sad state of affairs.

You met gunnels?! I would love to meet my fellow Musicbanterians but you all live so damn far away.
