Personally, I like the idea of voting after nominating, because not having been around for long, I find it easier and am more comfortable allowing others to bring suggestions to the table, and then ultimately casting amongst those votes.

And thank you very much, Vegan! There's nothing as flattering as being complemented when you least expect it. This would be the opportune moment to post a coy, blushing emoticon, but I don't want to go look for it.

Ah well if Tore was running it last year that explains a lot.

I mean no disrespect to Tore but I do think he has a tendency to over complicate things sometimes & make them about statistics, and perhaps miss the point of what made something good in the first place. In this case having a bit of fun & giving a shout out to the people you think deserve it.

And usually I don't spend a great deal of time on here from early to mid December so that'll be why I didn't say anything earlier.

Most Missed Poster - Can't really answer this with being quite new myself, not really noticed anyone disappearing etc.. Although did Conan go away for a while? I think he's pretty cool and I seem to remember him going off for a while? No? Actually scratch that I'll just go for NumberNineDream

Best avatar - I liked TheCunningStunt's Neutral Milk Hotel one, that stood out to me most. So that one, just cos the artwork is badass just like the album.

Its not rude, but it was done this way last year too, i figured it wouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I explained that it would be done this way again but gave people the opportunity to suggest changes nearly two weeks ago in a thread I made specifically for that and nobody said anything.

We can leave this open until the end of the month, forget the voting round and just count the nominations if people would prefer it that way but it might be too late now.
