I mean you can sincerely be abhorred by someone's ideas and still care for that person. I like Hawk but that doesn't mean I'm ok with his islamophobia and other bigoted opinions

A big part of the reason we had beef in the first place was cause I got sick of his incessant bigotry and stupid takes. He was capable of being a decent guy but regularly chose to ignore his better nature until I became perfectly willing to tell him to go **** himself.

I suppose there's more of an islamophobia in the western world, than there is a christianophobia.

Though really, there's also atheistphobia, communist phobia, capitalistphobia and "I-don't-give-a-****-about-all-of-this phobia"

debating whether they do exist or not is idiotic.

What's important is which one of those exist in our surroundings and whether they have a negative or positive effect on the society.


Say, "fascistphobia" would rather have a "positive" one.
Just like "religious-fundamentalist phobia".
"Rational thinking phobia" would definitively have a negative one though

If there are religions that have a higher percentage of fundamentalists in their ranks, then a sort of phobia makes sense.

But then again there's no point in ostracising some point of view just because "usually people act in x way or y way" is absurd of course

don't recall saying that. Elphs accusation sounds more like me though i don't think i said it in those terms. I don't agree with the kneejerk liberal attitude what all religions are equally evil/whatever. But obviously christianity he's been up there in the top tier of ****ed religions along with Islam. Those are really the top 2 to me though that's a western centric attitude.. But yeah i might've said something like right now Islam poses a unique threat christianity doesn't atm worldwide... Though if you to go to Africa they're pretty much the same
